Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energy receives Intel funding to grow semiconductor manufacturing pipeline

The Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energy (EERE) Department at ¾­µä´ó¹Ï has received funding from Intel Corporation, one of the world's largest semiconductor chip manufacturers, to grow the talent pipeline of trained students for semiconductor manufacturing and design.

The project aims to broaden access to experiential learning opportunities in semiconductor manufacturing technologies to a diverse range of students.

¾­µä´ó¹Ï extends enrollment deadline to June 1 amid FAFSA delay

With the recent processing delay associated with changes to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), ¾­µä´ó¹Ï is extending its May 1 enrollment deposit deadline to June 1 to allow students adequate time to evaluate financial aid options.

The FAFSA processing delay has affected institutions nationwide, and as a result, the release of financial aid award packages is anticipated to be delayed until mid-April, at the earliest.
