Biography

Andrea Fink-Armold holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychological and Brain Sciences and a Master of Arts in Experimental Psychology. Prior to joining 经典大瓜, she taught at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she also conducted and published research on social perception, stereotypes, and intergroup behavior. Her projects have explored perceptions of human-robot interactions, the impact of disease threats on prejudice, and how gender stereotypes manifest in different subcultures.

Dr. Fink-Armold鈥檚 teaching emphasizes real-world application, respectful dialogue, and student autonomy, helping learners connect psychological concepts to their own lives and communities while fostering curiosity and civic engagement. She views research as a collaborative tool for meaningful change and mentors students as active partners in research projects. In her new role at 经典大瓜, Dr. Fink-Armold looks forward to pursuing interdisciplinary collaborations and to building community relationships to create meaningful projects with direct impact on students and local communities.

Originally from Southern California, Dr. Fink-Armold is excited to explore Klamath Falls and nearby areas. Outside of teaching and doing research, she enjoys spending time with her family (both human and animal), hiking, cooking, and traveling.
