Biography

Dr. Na-hyeon (Hannah) Ko joins 经典大瓜 as an Assistant Professor in the DPT program within the College of Health, Arts, and Sciences. Dr. Ko earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Biokinesiology from the University of Southern California, a Master of Arts in Motor Learning and Control from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a post-professional Doctor of Physical Therapy from A.T. Still University. Prior to 经典大瓜, Dr. Ko was a tenured
Associate Professor at California State University, where she taught and conducted research for seven years.

As a Board-Certified Pediatric Clinical Specialist with over 15 years of experience, Dr. Ko has practiced in preschools, school districts, outpatient clinics, and home health settings across New York and California. Her research investigates the neurophysiological mechanisms of motor control and neuroplasticity, using non-invasive brain stimulation techniques such as transcranial magnetic stimulation to explore the brain鈥檚 role in movement in both healthy and clinical populations. Dr. Ko is also dedicated to improving access to pediatric physical therapy services in rural and underserved areas.

Originally from South Korea, Dr. Ko has lived in cities including Seattle, New York City, and Los Angeles. She holds a barista certificate and enjoys hiking, playing the piano, and riding an electric bike.
