Ten ¾­µä´ó¹Ï students from Klamath Falls, Portland-Metro, and Online have arrived in Helsinki, Finland, for the ICT Summer School at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences Metropolia Ammattikorkeakoulu. The program begins Monday, August 4, and allows students to attend one, two, or all three weeks as part of ¾­µä´ó¹Ï’s independent study abroad option. ICT Summer School brings together students and faculty from around the world, offering a global, multicultural learning environment. ¾­µä´ó¹Ï faculty are also leading courses at the program: - Strategic Business Communication is led by Dr. Sonja Bickford and Dr. Ruth Claire Black - Cybersecurity of Airports and Transportation Hubs is taught by Professor Gary Lomprey ¾­µä´ó¹Ï student participants include: Anthony Moran – Renewable Energy Engineering Icela Sanchez-Rodriguez – Operations Management Colton Hurst – Business Management Ian Hunt – Cybersecurity Mackenzie Knittel – Health Informatics Christian Wong – Cybersecurity Cesar Villegas – Cybersecurity Alan Villegas – Cybersecurity Kyle Bates – Software Engineering Technology Nathaniel Joseph – Cybersecurity Stay tuned as these students gain international experience and expand their global perspective in Finland.
