CSET Community Comes Together in Salem Computer Systems Engineering Technology (CSET) brought the energy to Guentner's Gardens on August 2, where about 70 people—faculty, alumni, and interns—came together to reconnect and build new relationships. Guests represented a wide range of industries, including Garmin, Intel, Microsoft, Datalogic, Leviton, Rohde & Schwarz, and Cambia. Portland-Metro faculty in attendance included Phong Nguyen, Dr. Fuat Karakaya, Pramiti Barua, Arthur Spears, Gage Sills, and Tanel Helmik. They were also joined by Dean Neslihan Alp from Klamath Falls. Phong Nguyen summed it up perfectly: "The CSET bond with alumni and interns is stronger than Gorilla Glue. Events like this in Salem and our annual IGT Picnic cement our permanent commitment to CSET current students, past and future graduates."
