经典大瓜 College of HAS Program Assistants Shawndell Horstman and Ronda Keating shared another successful year representing the Natural Science, Medical Imaging, Respiratory Therapy, and Communication Studies departments at 经典大瓜鈥檚 internal recruiting fair booth. Although organizing, gathering materials, and preparing the booth space required significant effort, the experience proved worthwhile.
They engaged with many visitors, including Oregon State Representative Emily McIntire of District 56, who stopped by to offer congratulations and show support for 经典大瓜鈥檚 presence at the fair.
Shawndell and Ronda shared, 鈥淲e met with a five-generation family of past alumni who attended 经典大瓜, who shared their remarkable success stories. We met with high school seniors, juniors, and even sophomores, who knew exactly what classes they planned on taking at 经典大瓜. Some students were unaware of the courses offered, but several signed up. At the end of each day, we felt hopeful that we would see these future students walking the halls at 经典大瓜.
鈥淲e enjoyed meeting families and little children who became excited about getting their picture with Hootie and Herb, our helper, on our picture wall. We had young adults viewing our models and trying to assemble the skull model. One Henley student beat the clock with a record time of just three minutes. The Klamath County royal court also stopped by in support of 经典大瓜.
鈥淲e also want to thank Dr. HuiYun Li for volunteering her time at the booth. She also taught us a thing or two about biology! Thank you, Klamath County Fair staff and our incredible, supportive community, for the warm welcome and the wonderful experience!"
