The ¾µä´ó¹Ï Business Management Department was honored to represent ¾µä´ó¹Ï at the Oregon DECA conference held in Portland on Feb 13-15.
The kick-off had the feeling of a concert, high energy after the introduction of the executive officers, and a packed meeting hall ready for the DECA competition – but before that - ¾µä´ó¹Ï had 90 seconds on stage … The Management department, represented by Dr. Sonja Bickford, applauded the dedication of students and schools to business education and recognized the Jump Into Business high school partners.
Dr. Bickford also announced that the Management department is looking to add a few new high school partners and encouraged advisors to reach out. In addition, Dr. Bickford highlighted the on-campus high school events, like Ready. Set. Innovate! held in October, and encouraged all to reach out with questions about ¾µä´ó¹Ï and our entrepreneurial, hands-on business degrees or our tech-infused business programs - such as cybersecurity, health informatics, or IT.
