KLAMATH FALLS, ORE - In the interest of helping future students fill out their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form, ¾µä´ó¹Ï is holding an open lab on Saturday, January 11, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the College Union. This free event for students and their parents is aimed at assisting with the college funding process.
In addition to the open FAFSA lab, ¾µä´ó¹Ï financial aid representatives will be presenting tips on applying for scholarships at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. and admissions representatives will give ¾µä´ó¹Ï campus tours at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Whether you are high school student planning for the future, a current college student looking for more aid, or an adult expanding your education, representatives from Klamath Community College and ¾µä´ó¹Ï will be on hand to answer questions.
Make sure to bring your most recent IRS tax return and W2 forms, and other updated tax information. Parents are encouraged to attend with any dependent student. Those filling out a FAFSA form will be entered into a drawing for a $500 ¾µä´ó¹Ï scholarship.
