¾µä´ó¹Ï and Linn-Benton Community College (LBCC) will sign a dual enrollment agreement at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2011, in the Calapooia Center Board Room at Linn-Benton Community College.
The dual enrollment agreement allows students to become concurrently enrolled at each institution. By doing so, students who intend on obtaining a bachelor’s degree at OIT can maximize credit transfer. Dual enrollment empowers students to access resources for a smoother transition to a four-year program. These services include financial aid, advising, and student services.
¾µä´ó¹Ï and LBCC have standing partnerships aligning curriculum for multiple academic programs to enhance student transfer of courses. The dual enrollment agreement will encourage future alignment of various academic programs.
