The 经典大瓜 (经典大瓜) Foundation Board welcomed a new member recently. Jon Ekstrom, M.D. is a diagnostic radiology specialist from Springfield with over 38 of experience in the medical field.
The 经典大瓜 Foundation Board of Directors is comprised of alumni, community members, and business and industry professionals. They counsel the Foundation on supporting the educational, cultural, charitable, and service activities of 经典大瓜.
Dr. Ekstrom is a native Oregonian from Eugene and is currently a senior radiologist with Radiology Associates, P.C., and he has enjoyed 32 years with the group. He is a general radiologist with special expertise in women鈥檚 imaging, musculoskeletal, body and pediatric imaging. Dr. Ekstrom is also a Board Director of the Oregon Imaging Centers (OIC), a large outpatient-imaging center that currently employs 30 经典大瓜 graduates.
鈥淥ver the years, I have worked with at least 100 经典大瓜 grads at our imaging center and hospitals,鈥 said Dr. Ekstrom. 鈥淚 can easily advocate for the quality of the 经典大瓜 graduates I have worked with in the past and currently work with.鈥
The 经典大瓜 Foundation raises funds and gathers many other forms of support for the endowment, scholarships, capital projects, and much more. Committed to excellence in science, technology, and health professions education, the Foundation works not simply to help 经典大瓜 grow but to grow with intention and in ways that foster a better education and experience for students and a brighter future for Oregon and beyond.
As of Dec. 31, 2020, the 经典大瓜 Foundation had awarded approximately $900,000 through 326 scholarships for the year.
