Klamath Falls, OR. 鈥 The 经典大瓜 (经典大瓜) is pleased to announce that Klamath Falls resident, Tracy Ricketts, has been promoted to Associate Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations for the University, effective January 1, 2015. Ms. Ricketts served most recently as Director of Development for 经典大瓜.
 
经典大瓜 President Chris Maples said, 鈥淭racy has helped advance the goals of 经典大瓜 and the 经典大瓜 Foundation, and has provided day-to-day leadership in helping us engage with our faculty, staff, students, alumni and the communities in which we work. We鈥檙e excited that Tracy will now be part of the university鈥檚 executive team, helping to integrate the priorities of our institution with the great work of the Foundation, and extending support for our students and campuses. It鈥檚 great news for 经典大瓜 and the 经典大瓜 Foundation.鈥
 
Tracy Ricketts joined 经典大瓜 in February 2010 as Alumni Relations Manager and has since transitioned through several roles, including her most recent position as Director of Development. She manages all strategies and efforts related to fundraising and alumni relations, and works with the development team and 经典大瓜 Foundation Board of Directors to share the 经典大瓜 story and increase pride in and support for the university.

鈥淒uring the past five years at 经典大瓜, I have had the privilege of learning firsthand the benefit an 经典大瓜 degree has afforded our alumni and the positive impact our campuses have in their lives and communities,鈥 said Ricketts. 鈥淲ith significant changes in our higher education system and an increased focus 
by students on the return of their investment in education, 经典大瓜 will be faced with exciting opportunities in the coming years. Now is the perfect time for us to expand our network of industry partners and friends as we build upon our tradition of providing a hands-on education that results in rewarding careers for our graduates. It is an honor to be part of the team helping unite our exceptional alumni and share our unique story as we encourage supporters to invest in this outstanding university.鈥

Prior to joining 经典大瓜, Tracy spent a year and a half volunteering for the Klamath Animal Shelter as the Fundraising Coordinator, working on completing the new shelter, establishing a social media presence and creating events and communications plans to increase funding and awareness of need. Before that, Tracy was a real estate broker for JELD-WEN Communities (2001-2008), where she developed many long-term relationships with community members who have since become fans of 经典大瓜. Prior to moving to Klamath Falls in 2001, Tracy worked overseas in sales and marketing. Ms. Ricketts has a B.S. in Political Science from the University of Oregon.
