IdeaFest 2024 Student Award Winners
IdeaFest is an annual event where students present their junior, senior, or capstone project posters and demonstrations.
Students at ¾µä´ó¹Ï are known for creating interesting, innovative projects. This year, many students chose to work with businesses in the community to solve real-world problems.
Students at the Portland-Metro campus presented projects on May 29, and more than 80 student projects were presented on June 7 at the Klamath Falls campus.

¾µä´ó¹Ï Catalyze Challenge teams and $18K prize pool announced
¾µä´ó¹Ï’s Catalyze Challenge has awarded $100,000 in prize money and services since it began in 2015. The competition continues this year with a prize pool of $18,000.
Nine teams are currently registered to compete in Catalyze 2024.
¾µä´ó¹Ï announces five student awardees of 4-year DeArmond tuition scholarships and internships
Five talented ¾µä´ó¹Ï (¾µä´ó¹Ï) students have been awarded a DeArmond Manufacturing Fellows Scholarship, which provides a four-year scholarship to cover tuition and fees to pursue a degree in manufacturing or mechanical engineering.
