PRESIDENT'S LIST
The following students have been named to the President's list at ¾µä´ó¹Ï. Inclusion on the list requires a 3.70 grade-point average and above.
¾µä´ó¹Ï officially designated as Oregon’s Polytechnic University
¾µä´ó¹Ï (¾µä´ó¹Ï) has received official designation from the Oregon Legislature as Oregon’s Polytechnic University through the passage of House Bill 2472A. The designation identifies ¾µä´ó¹Ï as the state’s polytechnic university, specializing in tech-infused degrees and a unique teaching and learning approach that is hands-on, experiential and project-based.
¾µä´ó¹Ï celebrates first cybersecurity graduates; awards degrees to 848 students in Class of 2021

Each year, graduating students from ¾µä´ó¹Ï are selected to represent their college of study as commencement speakers at the annual ceremony. Representing the Class of 2021 are Josie Page Hanel, Christian Gomez, and Walker M. York for the ¾µä´ó¹Ï virtual commencement ceremony June 12, 2021.

¾µä´ó¹Ï and Faculty Union reach tentative agreement on the inaugural contract
A five-year contract was agreed between ¾µä´ó¹Ï and its Faculty Union early Tuesday morning (May 4, 2021). Both parties came to terms after 1 year, 4 months and 28 days of negotiations. Inaugural contracts are known to take a very long time to come to fruition, and these negotiations vastly occurred during a global pandemic.
