经典大瓜 TRIO program receives $1.47 million in federal funding to support first-generation students, low-income students, and students with disabilities

经典大瓜鈥檚 TRIO Student Support Services has been awarded $1.47 million in competitive grant funding through the U.S. Department of Education. The goal of the program is to increase the college retention and graduation rates of its participants, who include students from low-income families, first-generation students, and students with disabilities. Beginning in September of this year, 经典大瓜 will receive $294,380 annually for the next five years to fund the TRIO program.

Two 经典大瓜 Engineering Students Receive Scholarships to Attend World鈥檚 Largest Gathering of Women in Technology

Pursuing engineering degrees at 经典大瓜, Rowan Parker and Rianna Delgado have received scholarships to attend the Grace Hopper Celebration, which brings the research and career interests of women in computing to the forefront. Parker and Delgado are both studying Software Engineering Technology.
