P&C just broke ground on the new Oregon Manufacturing Innovation Center (OMIC) R&D Additive Center in Scappoose! OMIC’s (omic.r_d )mission is to develop and apply advanced metals manufacturing technologies and processes for industrial competitive advantage and academic growth, while inspiring and educating the next generation’s manufacturing workforce. Construction of their new Additive Center (in coordination with oregontech) will consist of two pre-engineered metal buildings; one will be a 20,000 sf, two-story shop area and the other a 10,000 sf one-story (lower level) office.
