Directly under the skylights in Purvine, a new mural glows. Students Kawthar Alfilfel and Eleanor Kenyon unveiled their work today, which showcases the wonders of Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energy Engineering. 🖼️

#MadLoveMonday kudos for the ������ business students who continue to make us proud! This team won two competitions this year. The first case was for the development of a marketing plan for an innovative medical technology startup and the second case was for a cryptocurrency company. As part of their win, they were provided an opportunity for a paid internship with the competition sponsor, Coinsource. Three of the students took advantage of the internship this summer (the other student already had a full-time job offer prior to graduation).

Thank you to another wonderful alumni 🤍 “I have worked at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital for 4 1/2 years now. We are a 25 bed critical-access rural hospital. I love being a respiratory therapist because of the variety. As RTs, we are capable of treating a large array of patients with countless therapies, medications, and procedures. We work in all units of the hospital at Hood River: FBC, ER, general medicine, ICU, PACU, outpatient, and same day surgery.

Congratulations to two seniors in OIT Civil Engineering who were each awarded scholarships from the Oregon American Public Works Association (APWA) Scholastic Foundation. 🎉🏅 Garrett Oman was awarded the APWA Civil Engineering Scholarship to continue pursuing a career in the broad field of Public Works.
