We are making great progress on oregontech‘s new Center for Excellence in Engineering and Technology. The project includes new classrooms, high-bay labs, and lots of space for department and graduate offices. Central to the design is a large maker space, giving students of any major the opportunity to come in and work on projects.

Six ������/OHSU students from the state’s only bachelor’s program in Medical Laboratory Science were recognized for their academic and other accomplishments with awards of national and state scholarships amounting to $18,500. The ������ Dental Hygiene Class of 2020 (Klamath Falls) has achieved a 100% pass rate on their dental hygiene board examinations administered by the Central Region Dental Testing Services, Inc., allowing each graduate to apply for and receive their dental hygiene licenses. This class of 22 students graduated in March from the ������ Dental Hygiene Program, earning the Bachelor of Science degrees in Dental Hygiene.

Software Engineering Technology students, Rowan Parker and Rianna Delgado, have been recognized as Grace Hopper Scholars by AnitaB.org, a non-profit which empowers women and under-tapped communities in technical fields, guides the organizations that employ them, and supports the academic institutions training the next generation.
