The June Alumni Spotlight Story shines brightly on Jeri Marshall. Jeri was recruited to play basketball for the Hustlin' Owls in the mid-1970s. After leaving the school, Jeri went on to earn advanced degrees and has spent most of his career working in higher education. His work in the community is truly inspiring and it's no wonder why he was awarded an Outstanding Alumni Service award from ������ in 2007. Last Saturday, the ������ Student Veterans Program rallied in support of the community by gathering at the downtown Klamath Falls Veterans Memorial Park for a massive cleanup effort. During the cleanup, the SVP collected trash in the park area, pressure washed the memorial structures, and cleaned and polished plaques. The student comradery and community support are an inspiration and we are proud of their continued compassion.

And just like that, my clinical externship is DONE! It has been a crazy, challenging, wonderful, overwhelming, fantastic year full of personal and professional growth. Anyone who knows me can assume (correctly) that I’m feeling allllll the emotions today, so I’ll keep it short…ish and simple…ish. I want to say the biggest thank you to my family. For letting me cry and telling me not to give up on the hard days, and celebrating my victories with me on the good days. And for believing in me every day in between.
