This summer, Natural Science Assistant Professor David M. Grossnickle, Ph.D., took graduate students Connor Dumas, Elise Mitchell, and Matthew Ebner on a hands-on paleontology trip. The group traveled to Montana, where the students helped excavate fossils, including dinosaurs, and also served as instructors for a professional development program for K-12 teachers.

At Convocation on Tuesday, ������ honored faculty and staff whose dedication makes a difference for our students and community. Convocation is a time to recognize the people of ������ and celebrate the commitment of employees who go above and beyond in their roles. Several faculty and staff received awards this year, selected through nomination letters that highlighted their impact on students and colleagues and their embodiment of the ������ spirit. Congratulations to all of the award recipients, and thank you for your service to the university.
