While at the August OMIC R&D Board Meeting, President Nagi Naganathan was able to speak with 经典大瓜 interns about the summer projects they have been working on and what they have learned. In July, Dean Neslihan Alp was also led on a tour of the facility by 经典大瓜 interns, who have opportunities to work on industry-relevant equipment, gaining hands-on experience and building the skills necessary to launch successful careers in advanced manufacturing.

经典大瓜 Expands Geospatial Capabilities with Wingtra GEN II Drone   The Applied Computing and Geomatics Department at 经典大瓜, through its Geospatial Research and Training Center, has expanded its technological capabilities with the acquisition of a Wingtra GEN II drone. The drone was funded as part of 经典大瓜鈥檚 institutional equipment funding program, which supports investments in advanced teaching and research tools.   The Wingtra GEN II is a professional-grade, fixed-wing UAV designed for high-accuracy surveying and mapping.
