Congrats to the five talented ������ students who have been awarded a DeArmond Manufacturing Fellows Scholarship, which provides a four-year scholarship to cover tuition and fees to pursue a degree in manufacturing or mechanical engineering. The scholarship includes an internship at the Oregon Manufacturing Innovation Center Research and Development (OMIC R&D) facility in Scappoose to work collaboratively with researchers and industry representatives. With a doctorate in Global Business and Leadership, visiting Instructor Dr. Sonja Bickford is introducing global communication to her Management students this term. In partnership with Vetter Communications Oy (based in Finland), ������ students will gain valuable exposure to communication and media strategies at the global level. In 2019, Klamath Community College (KCC) and ������ created the Badger to Owl Connection (BOC) to promote college access, affordability, and bachelor’s degree completion for more students in Klamath County. Now, one of the first students to take advantage of the program, Isabel Ocampo Solano, is expected to graduate in June from ������’s Applied Psychology Program.
