To say we enjoyed our first day would be an understatement. We began with Donuts and Directions at both campuses, where helpful employees provided a smile, a treat, and information, and then we enjoyed lunch outside in Klamath and inside at Portland-Metro. There are many more activities planned over the next week and we look forward to enjoying them with our students and getting out into our communities. 🦉💙

Graduate Student Spotlight: As a transfer student from Portland Community College (PCC), Rebecca Marszalek enrolled at ������ Portland-Metro in 2020 after encouragement from a PCC psychology instructor, Cynthia Golledge. After Marszalek completed a bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology at ������ in June, the sense of community she found in Wilsonville was a significant factor in her decision to continue on at ������ and begin a graduate degree in ������ Marriage and Family Therapy. Industry partnerships are a highlight of the ������ experience. Electrical Engineering instructor Jason Sullins includes a tour of Sunstone Circuits during his Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Summer Boot Camp to provide insight into designing circuit boards for manufacturability. The Owls secured their first win of the season by defeating the University of Jamestown 3-0!
