������ students are building new bridges… literally! 🌉 Back in May, our Steel Bridge Team (with @oregontech_asce_agc) competed in the National American Institute of Steel Construction’s Student Steel Bridge Competition held at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA. 🌉 They successfully constructed a 147lb bridge that passed vertical loading with a 1.014” aggregate deflection. Now THAT’S putting your statics class to good use!

𝐄𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐧 We’d like to congratulate our Formula SAE team on their 2022 season! 🏎 After working hard the entire school year to build a brand new racing vehicle from scratch, as soon as spring term concluded they drove all the way to the Michigan International Speedway to compete.

Hootie and new pal Emily had a blast helping out with @iyskids summer kickoff picnic in the park today! 🧺 There was all sorts of free food and activities to spread the word of different youth resources in Klamath Falls. Hootie got to blow bubbles, play basketball, meet firefighters, and even got into a water pistol fight.
